This is an interesting day.

Ok, so about 7 weeks ago, I was hired to be an intern at spectrum brands.  It’s a big company that does a lot of stuff.  But this department is responsible for managing the BlackAndDeckerAppliances.com and GeorgeForemanCooking.com websites.  They are fugly, dont go there.

enough back story.  Today, there was a town hall meeting.  Yea, think of Gilmore Girls, every one seated in rows.  but there wasn’t that much talk going on.  There was something wrong.  Turns out that was when they announced they were going to close this branch down.

Now, the whole office seems to be split between those stressed out, and those panicked.  and i am left here, wondering actually what I am supposed to be doing.  coz you know, i am a baller and actually finished my work for the week already.

But i am legitimaly not freaking out.  I mean from here on there will be 3 options: A- They offer me a position in the main HQ and i get to move to where it snows…. score.  B- They keep me here until the move is complete.  meh, at least i get time to find something else.  C- They let me go now.  well, that’d suck but I get more time to invest on my free lance work and execute that much better.

my only annoyance at the moment is that I dont want to have another job that I am in here for less than 3 months.  I would have liked to have at least that much as experience, if not longer.  oh well.
